One of America’s most respected Jewish peace activists, Rabbi Michael Lerner is the founder and editor of Tikkun magazine, rabbi of Beyt Tikkun Synagogue in San Francisco, and holds PhDs in philosophy and clinical psychology. Named one of Utne Reader’s 100 American Visionaries, his previous books include The Politics of Meaning, Jewish Renewal, and Spirit Matters. In his new book, The Left Hand of God, Rabbi Lerner presents a conceptual blueprint for the creation of an America dedicated to the values of love, kindness, respect, and responsibility.
