Dr. Dan Gottlieb | Letters to Sam: A Grandfather's Lessons on Love, Loss and the Gifts of Life
A practicing psychologist and family therapist in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area for over 35 years, Dr. Dan Gottlieb has hosted Voices in the Family, an award-winning mental health call-in radio show airing on WHYY 91 FM, since 1985. He writes “Inside Out,” a bimonthly column reflecting on world events and our personal experience of them, for the Philadelphia Inquirer. He has published two previous books, Voices in the Family and Voices of Conflict, Voices of Healing.
Maiken Scott has been with WHYY 91 FM in Philadelphia for over eight years. She is the producer of Voices in the Family with Dan Gottlieb and You Bet Your Garden with Mike McGrath. Last year, she took on responsibilities as a special project producer at WHYY; currently, she is working on a documentary about children and cancer. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Temple University. A co-owner of Surreal Sound Studios, she is active in the local music scene.
