Jules Feiffer and Jenny Allen | The Long Chalkboard
Jules Feiffer’s Pulitzer Prize-winning comic strip ran for forty-two years in the Village Voice and his cartoons have been collected into nineteen books. He is the author of numerous plays, among them Little Murders, and screenplays, including Carnal Knowledge and Popeye. Jenny Allen has written profiles for Esquire and feature pieces, reviews, and the “Hers” column for the New York Times. Currently a contributing editor at Good Housekeeping, she also produces and performs comedy in New York clubs. Written by Jenny Allen and illustrated by her husband, Jules Feiffer, The Long Chalkboard is a triptych of modern life in fables for adults.
