Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Jane Smiley is the author of The Age of Grief, Moo, and A Thousand Acres. She has won both the O. Patricia Marx’s television credits include writing for Saturday Night Live and Rugrats, and she currently contributes to the New Yorker, New York Times, Vogue, and Atlantic Monthly. She has written several previous books, among them Friedrich Medal winner Meet My Staff, a children’s book illustrated by Roz Chast, and How to Regain Your Virginity.
