Kurt Andersen was co-founder and editor of Spy magazine, editor-in-chief of New York magazine, and currently hosts the public radio program Studio 360. His first novel, Turn of the Century, was a national bestseller and a New York Times Notable Book. Heyday, set in the mid-nineteenth century, is a portrait of an era filled with heroes and visionaries such as Walt Whitman, Charles Darwin, and Alexis de Tocqueville.
Jonathan Lethem won the National Book Critics Circle Award for fiction for his best-selling novel Motherless Brooklyn; his next novel, Fortress of Solitude, was a bestseller and a New York Times Editor’s Pick.
