Winner of the 2004 Nobel Prize in Physics, Frank Wilczek is the author of a score of groundbreaking academic papers, the New York Times notable book Longing for the Harmonies, and several articles in publications such as Nature, Physics Today, and the Norton Anthology of Light Verse. The Herman Feshbach Professor of Physics at MIT, he serves on the board of the Society for Science & the Public and is also the winner of the prestigious Lorentz Medal, among many other scientific honors. In his new book, Wilczek posits an elegant synthesis of man’s dual quests for truth and beauty as a way to understand the order of the universe.
