The author of 15 novels and more than 100 short stories, T.C. Boyle blends “brilliance with high-concept pyrotechnics, meditations with whiz-bangery” (Los Angeles Times) to spin darkly humorous tales of babyboomers, anti-heros, and famous eccentrics. He won the PEN/Faulkner Award for his novel World’s End, and was a National Book Award Finalist for Drop City. His fiction has brought to life cereal magnate John Harvey Kellogg, sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, and outlandish architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Boyle’s new novel explores the American frontier mentality and penchant for violence.
