David Axelrod | Believer: My Forty Years in Politics
David Axelrod has managed more than 150 local state, and national political campaigns, among them some of the most heated and important of our time. A former columnist for the Chicago Tribune, Axelrod was a top political advisor to President Clinton and senior strategist for Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 election campaigns. He is the founder and director of the bipartisan Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago, and recently joined NBC News and MSNBC as a senior political analyst. From his 20-year relationship with President Obama to his insights on the evolution of the Democratic Party, Believer is a candid and vivid memoir from one of America’s most successful political generals.
