Scott Stossel’s essays and articles have appeared in a variety of publications, including The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Beast, and The New Republic. He is the editor of The Atlantic magazine and former executive editor of The American Prospect magazine. His writing has been widely anthologized in college textbooks, and he is also the author of Sarge, a “lively” and “exhaustive” (Washington Post) biography of Peace Corps and Special Olympics founder Sargent Shriver. In My Age of Anxiety, Stossel offers personal, historical, and scientific perspectives about anxiety.
