Free Workshops for West Philly: Credit Scores

Fri, April 8, 2016 4:00 P.M.
The Free Library Hot Spot at Heavenly Hall Annex

What are credit scores? What do they mean, and what can you do about yours? One of the most misunderstood economic tools is a person’s credit score.  Too many people don’t know what their score is, how it affects them, or what they need to do to raise it.  While good credit can be a gateway to economic opportunity, bad credit can be a detriment so significant that it can impact employment. Patrons will work with Penn Law students to search for their credit report, analyzing it, and begin to address issues that they need to resolve in order to raise scores and gain access to increased economic opportunity.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. For more information or to register, please contact Brian Isdell at 215-686-5372 or stop in the Free Library Hot Spot in the Heavenly Hall Annex during open access hours: Monday- Thursday 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. and Friday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

This workshop will be held at the Free Library Hot Spot at Heavenly Hall Annex: 4015 Poplar Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
