Notes:

These are some of the contents of the Fraktur Artist’s Toolkit. They include five hand-drawn and hand-colored images of geometric motifs, each measuring about 4cm x 4cm. The motifs relate closely to the work of the Wetzel-Geometric Artist (see also FLP 344, 645, and 1030 for examples of this artist's work).  Also included are sixteen clippings of printed text in Fraktur, consisting of a dialogue between God and Adam and Eve. Each clipping measures about 2cm x 10.5cm. Finally, the kit includes two hand-lettered pieces of text, measuring about 4cm x 8cm. They are two stanzas from the popular text “Ich bin getauft (I am baptized).”  For images of the closed and opened case, see frk00001a and frk00001c.
