Image of African-American horsemen, riding through North Philadelphia in the 1970s. Philadelphia has a long history of Black inner-city riding clubs--the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club originated in Strawberry Mansion more than 100 years ago. The club in this photograph is unidentified, but was photographed in North Philadelphia. This 1970s color photographic print was taken by Philadelphia photographer Dr. Harry Drasin.
