Notes:
Rhyme found in the Anthology of Children's Literature taken from Mother Goose's Melodies, edited by W. A. Wheeler.
Full text of nursery rhyme:
There was an old woman tost up in a basket,
Seventy times as high as the moon.
Where she was going, I couldn’t but ask it,
For in her hand she carried a broom.
“Old woman, old woman, old woman,” quoth I,
“O whither, O whither, O whither so high?”
“To sweep the cobwebs off the sky,
And I will be back again, by and by.”
