Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The drawings of five female figures and animals are arranged in three rows. In the top row are two well-dressed women, one holding a basket and picking flowers, and the other with a basket and a dog. In the second row are three well-dressed female figures. One is holding a flower or insect [?] and one is holding a cat [?]. In the bottom row are several birds on branches, as well as a rooster. The initials and date are written between the top two figures.
The drawing was done on the back of a membership certificate of the Lancaster Mutual Aid Society (in English). The drawings were outlined in pencil.
