Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. In the center of the drawing is a vase with a leafy plant with three flowers. The year is written along the bottom of the item. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. See FLP 213v for the reverse.
Small drawings, often lacking inscriptions and referred to as bookmarks by collectors, were given by schoolmasters to their students as rewards for good behavior and scholastic accomplishments.
