Heisse dein Schifflein nur Folgen der Wellen Spur Gott ist der Steuermann \ der es schon leiten kan Hoffnung laß für und für Bleiben dein Schiff Panier Sieht es \ heut stürmisch drein morgen wirds stille sein 1775
Translation:
Let your little ship only follow the path of the waves. God is the helmsman who can guide it. Let hope be forever and ever your ship’s banner. If it seems stormy today, tomorrow will be still. 1775.
