Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. This is actually two Writing Exercises (Vorschriften) on one sheet, with one covering the upper half and the other one the lower portion of the document. The first two lines of each Vorschrift are written in particularly large letters in Fraktur. The first letters are large and especially decorative. The remainder of the text is in German script. To the left of each Vorschrift is a verse within a rectangular frame. Small stems of flowers decorate areas around the text.
