Christian Birth and Baptismal Certificate
To these two married people namely Johannes Zimmerman and his lawful wife Anna Barbra, a born Didrichen, a daughter was born into the world in Albany Township, in Berks County, in the province of Pennsylvania, in the year of the Lord 1792, the 15th of January. This child was baptized by Pastor Miller, a servant of God’s word. The sponsors were Adam Didrich and his lawful wife Chadarina, and gave it the name Chadarina. Fear God and observe his commandments always.

and entered into the state of matrimony with Jakob Görg 1814, by Knorke, preacher. And was confirmed 1805 by Mister pastor Oberhaus into the Lutheran congregation at Stone Church.

Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur is in the center of the document. It is flanked by two angels in dresses that are decorated with flowers. They are wearing crowns and holding flowers in their hands. The title is within a rectangular frame that is decorated with triangles, crosses and fruit. Beneath the text is a heart with several flowers, including two tulips. The marriage and confirmation note was added in German script below the main text.
