Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The fraktur consists of two facing pages. The text on the left page is written on a banner that is wrapped around a heart. The heart is surrounded by a variety of flowers, including a large one in the upper center. Along the upper edge is a swag or curtain. The text on the other page is enclosed within a wreath that is hanging from a bow. The background of this page is decorated by a checked pattern. It is enclosed by a decorative border. The death notice in English in Roman script is penciled on an inner leaf. This bookplate has been removed from the hymnal for which it was made.
