Notes:

Inez Buck, formerly leading lady with the Misleading Lady Company, has joined the Lubin forces, making her first appearance in a three-reel production under the direction of Joseph Kaufman.

Another new addition to the Lubin acting forces is Craufurd Kent who plays opposite to Miss Inez Buck.

Director Pratt with Richard Buhler, Rosetta Brice and his company of players has returned from Block Island where they have been taking "The Man's Making," a Lubin V. L. S. E. feature.

Director Edwin McKim maintains modestly with a respirator affixed to his nasal organ that Limberger's Victory, his release of November twenty-third, is by far the strongest play D. L. Don has yet been seen in, and Edwin McKim has a keen sense of humor as well as smell.

An exceptional bit of clever acting is displayed by L. C. Shumway in the dual role he plays in Thursday's release, November twenty-fifth, when he so ably handles the two characters of George and Herbert, brothers, in the three-reel drama, "As the Twig is Bent.”

"His Wife's New Lid" is the second Billie Reeves comedy to be made under the direction of Earl Metcalfe and the third is "Blaming the Duck or Ducking the Blame” — and Earl says the second is better ‘n the first and the third is better’n the second — and since Earl is usually a mighty conscientious little feller you'd better take the tip. At any

rate Reeves is certainly optimistic and says he is at his best — a thing seldom admitted by an actor.

The D. L. Don comedies are making Tuesday a big day for Lubin. This different comedian has taken to work before the camera like a matinee girl to candy and the generous bookings being listed at exchanges are the answer. Get in line on Tuesday is their slogan.

"In Love's Own Way," the release of Wednesday, November seventeenth, is the type of three-reeler you are looking for. It has a great little twist in it, filled with the right sort of photo-play construction with Francis Joyner and Rosetta Brice at their best.

Director Clay M. Greene is working on a three-reel by Dr. Daniel Carson Goodman, which is going to tickle your fancy. Mr. Greene predicts a good one — sure — and he's been through the mill — so when he predicts you may place your bets his way. "Beyond All is Love” is the title.
