Hand-drawn; Hand-drawn; hand-colored. In the center of the document is a bird that is piercing its own breast with its beak. Three smaller birds on the branch of a tree are reaching up to feed on the blood that is sprouting from the wound. A heart is in the lower left. The text in German script is below the image, beneath a border. The item is framed by a decorative border.
