In the year of our Lord 1835 the 27 day of November \ was born Cyrus Anspach Ruth in the Townsship \ of Cumru in the county of Berks \ in the state of Pennsylvania in Northamerica. The \ parents names are John and \ Wife Rebecca a daughter of \ John Ansbach And was baptized on the 11 day \ of January in the year of our Lord 1836 by the \ Revd. William Pauli. His sponsors \ were Father and Mother.

Notes:
Hand-colored; hand-lettered; engraved form. The text in Roman script and print is in the center of the document. It is frame on the top by a garland that is held by two angels. Above it are eleven disciples who are looking up to Jesus who is speaking to them from a cloud. The main text is flanked by two pictures that are hanging by chains from poles. The image on the left depicts Adam and Eve beneath the tree with the snake. The eye of God is above them. The picture on the right depicts the crucifixion, with the three crosses, several people, and a town in the background. The Last Supper is depicted in the lower portion of the document.
