Notes: This image shows the antiphon for Vespers of the first Sunday of Advent, "Ecce nomen Domini venit de longinquo ?" (Behold the name of the Lord is coming from afar. . .).

The similarities between this manuscript and Lewis E 221 and 222 suggest that they were all made as part of a set. The colophons at the end of 221 and 222 tell that they were made at the Monastery of Belém in 1548 at the request of John III of Portugal.
