Notes: This initial begins an unidentified chant for the feast of St. Nicholas of Tolentino (Sept. 10, d. 1305), an Augustinian who spent most of his life in the Italian city of Tolentino. Lewis E M 71:1a-c are cuttings from an antiphonary that came from the Cathedral of Como illuminated by the Cremonese artist Baldasare Coldiradi who was active in the 1480s.
