Chevrolet's 1989 Cavalier...is the first GM vehicle to have the new GM-designed Self-Aligning Feature (SAF) steering wheel which features a unique energy-absorbing hub which helps to spread the force of the impact and reduce chest injuries. The CAvalier Z24- in coupe or convertible- boasts gas-pressurized shocks for quicker, more responsive handling and a new custom cloth interior. PErformance hardware includes a 2.8 liter V6 with multi-port fuel injection, 5-speed manual transmission, P215/60R-14 GT+4 tires on cast-aluminum wheels and FE3 sport suspension. Cavalier is America's most complete nameplate, offering four body styles, six models and a variety of available equipment.
