 Chevrolet's 1989 Caprice Classic...now has the 5.0 liter V8 with electronic fuel injection as standard. Electronic fuel injection replaces the carburetor for improved hot fuel handling, fuel economy, driveability and idle speed control. The 1989 model Caprice Classic roster remains the same- the most affordable base Caprice series (sedan only), the mid-range Caprice Classic (sedan or three-seat wagon) and the luxurious Caprice Classic Brougham (sedan only). Three-point rear shoulder belts are standard on all 1989 Caprice models.
