 Chevrolet's 1989 Camaro RS...combines IROC-Z apperance with 2.8 liter V6, multi-port fuel-injected performance. As a coupe or convertible, RS exterior features include body-color lower aero panels, dual sport mirros, new P215/65R-15 all-season "touring" tires on cast-aluminum wheels and specific spoiler. All '89 CAmaros feature the "Pass Key" theft-deterrent system that has significantly reduced thefts of Crovettes in the past three years. RS performance equipment includes a sport suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, quick-ratio power steering and a 5-speed manual transmission. A 4-speed automatic with overdrive is optional as is a 5.0 liter V8 with EFI. The hotter Camaro IROC-Z combines a 5.0 liter V8 with EFI and a 5-speed manual transmission for '89 and flaunts restyled standard 15-inch aluminum wheels.
