1977 Chevrolet Caprice State Station Wagon
New Ear of Chevrolets- The 1977 Caprice and Impala models usher in a new era of Chevrolets emphasizing efficiency of size and operation. Despite impressive weight-savings and trim new smaller dimensions, big car roominess and comfort are continued, especially in the new station wagons. Station wagon highlights for 1977 include a new three-way tailgate, lockable stowage compartment in left rear quarter panel and new utility tray in each quarter trim panel. The Caprice Classic and Impala wagons are avilable in two-seat or three-seat versions. A completely new car for 1977, the standard Chevrolet and wagons feature a new 116-inch wheelbase and new body, chassis and frame design.
