Vega for 1974- The award-winning Chevrolet Vega features a new front end with large louvers above the all-aluminum bumper. The '74 Vega is available in notchback and hatchback coupe, Kammback wagon, panel express, Vega LX and Vega estate wagon. A standard 140-cubic-inch engine is again offered along with a new 122-cubic inch Cosworth powerplant which will be available later in the model year. Public introduction date for the Vega is Thursday, September 20.
