Devonshire Terrace
Friday Twenty Ninth Decr.
1848
My Dear Leech,
I should like to have a walk. Also a talk, about going out of town. Don't you think we might improve upon the Isle of Wight, and find out some other place where there is something to see, and where Men resort? I am going to take down the beauties of England and Wales presently (in 30 Vols thick 80) and look over them.
Let me know tomorrow, what you say to Monday. Anywhere, or any hour
--all one to Yours ever
