Notes: A processional contains the musical chant for the processions celebrating the major events of the liturgical year. The first part of this processional was written by a woman named Elizabet, probably a nun in the convent where the manuscript was used. She signed her name in red on the verso of the opening, writing "Orate pro me. Elizabet est meum nomen." (Pray for me. Elizabeth is my name." The facing page, written by a different scribe, contains the antiphon for the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin (Sept. 8).
Notes: Opening with a scribal signature
