The New Styling of The Buick for 1961
The clean, sweeping lines of Buick's 1961 styling are epitomized in the Le-Sabre series with its landau-type roof and windshielf of new design. Extensive engineering and styling changes provide more headroom and greater passenger comfort. Doors open wider for easier entrance and exit. Interior roominess has been increased even though the over-all width has been reduced two inches. LeSabre models are mounted on a 123-inch wheelbase and have an over-all length of 213 inches, nearly five inches shorter than last year. The new, improved turbine drive transmission is standard equipment on all LeSabres.
