Notes: "Prominent in this picture of 10th Street is Jefferson Medical College's neoclassical portico, designed and added to the building by architect Napoleon Lebrun in 1845. The vast complex of the present Thomas Jefferson University now stands on this site and on properties extending south beyond Locust Street and west to 11th."--OPEP, p. 136.
