- This collection contains artwork by pop artist Michael Albert during his visit to the Free Library of Philadelphia's Central Children's Department in 2010.

Michael Albert received his BPA in Business from New York University in 1988. His works range from pen and ink to mosaic collages using images and text from convenience food packaging and cereal boxes. After the release of his autobiography An Artist's America (Henry Holt) in 2018, Albert developed the "Modern Pop Art Experience," a traveling Pop Art enrichment program and collage workshop. The "Modern Pop Art Experience" has traveled to over 1,000 schools, libraries, museums, art festivals and special events in both North American and Europe. Albert's workshop is billed as a multi-generational program designed for school-age children, teens, adults.
