Join Mural Arts and Southeast x Southeast for a one-time special screening at Whitman Library. We will be screening animations from Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself" poem that includes voices from immigrant youth exploring the concept of multitudes and diversity through the use of language. Hand drawn images, fonts, and other visuals sourced from the youth will be collaged together in the video. The program will also include a poetry reading by students from Furness High School. This unique program will be held on Wednesday, June 19 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
