Art Explorers: Claymobile
Children's Department at Parkway Central Library
Join The Clay Studio for a hands-on clay-making experience! In this workshop, participants will explore their creativity and imagination while learning the fundamentals of clay building and decoration. For school aged children. This event will be held in the Story Hour Room, within the Central Children's Department.
The Art Explorers series is brought to you as a part of the programming for the exhibition Kaleidoscope: Mixing Shape, Color, and Motion, which can be seen in the 2nd Floor West Gallery of the Parkway Central Library, from December 1st through March 7th. Visual artists draw upon core formal elements of art, such as shape, color, and motion, to convey their vision. By modifying and adapting these building blocks, creativity flourishes. This exhibition encourages you to experience the works on display, identify these elements and consider the ways they are used to express ideas and imagination.
