Coding Fun with Raspberry Pi
Lovett Memorial Library
In this fun and engaging program, kids will learn how to code games, music, digital art, and much more! We will learn to code with Scratch and Python, and participants will be able to code projects from day one. Projects will also be accessible from home, so the fun never has to end.
Scratch is a visual coding language where the code blocks fit together like Legos - this lets learners focus on the logic of coding without getting bogged down in syntax. We'll be coding on brand new Rasberry Pi devices which were purchased through a Philadelphia Activities Fund grant. The program is designed for ages 8 through 12 years old and will meet on Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m.
