Dinosaurs: Animal History Before Humans (and After).
Senior Services at Parkway Central Library
Join us on October 17th for a free Zoom presentation as Jessica Lepler, a historian at the University of New Hampshire, will offer a compelling program that may change the way you view both animals and human beings!
Our interactions with animals are constant and never-ending. They range from the packaged chicken breasts you bought yesterday to the images of toy dogs in cashmere sweaters that appeared on YouTube. Animals can be pets, pests, producers, and products. We have shaped their lives to meet our diverse and ever-changing needs. Although the vast majority of animals cannot write or speak a language we understand, they have often served as agents of change in human society.
