Science in the Summer: Be an Epidemiologist

Children 5-11 are invited to Be a Health Scientist this Summer! The Science in the Summer program invites children to take the role of scientists and engineers as they investigate problems related to human health and well-being. The activities encourage scientific practices like making observations and testing hypotheses while exploring the following questions:
• What parts of people’s lives and environments affect their health?
• How can people improve their health?
• How can we keep people from getting sick?
• How can we help sick people get well?
Monday 1:30-2:30 - Be an Athletic Trainer
Tuesday 1:30-2:30 – Be a Cardiologist
Wednesday 1:30-2:30 – Be a Dietitian
Thursday 1:30-2:30 - Be an Epidemiologist
Friday 1:30-2:30 - Be an Orthopedic Doctor
