Introduction to Birding
Falls of Schuylkill Library
Join us for an introductory session designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills for birdwatching, focusing on birds found in and around Philadelphia. Participants will learn bird identification techniques, key characteristics of local species, and effective birdwatching methods. By the end of this program, participants should feel confident in identifying common birds found in and around the city.
This program will be led by Troy Bynum, an enthusiastic birder, passionate wildlife photographer, and owner of TB Wildlife Photography LLC. Troy's work focuses on capturing and showcasing the remarkable colors, intricate patterns, and rich textures that are abundant throughout the natural world.
This program will be held in the library Meeting Room - please enter via the Midvale Room entrance.
