On the Global Day of Unplugging, stop by the Central Parkway Library for a personal tour of artist Sheryl Oring’s “Secretary to the People” exhibition and a chance to try out one of her typewriters. Oring has been typing people’s messages to the president with her “I Wish to Say” project for the past 21 years. The artist will offer typing lessons and a turn at the keys for interested visitors. Participation is first come, first served.
