Podcasting 101
Literature Department at Parkway Central Library
Have a great idea for a podcast but don't know where to start?
Join the hosts of Well There's Your Problem for a fun and informative workshop on starting your own podcast! Justin, Liam, and November will discuss podcasting basics such as finding your niche, guests, the recording process, and more. We will discuss what equipment you need to get started and answer your podcasting questions. We hope to see you there!
Justin Roczniak is the mind behind the "Franklin" urban planning youtube series and just barely eeked out a degree in civil engineering. He's on Well There's Your Problem to guide you through the worst systemic failures, regulatory oversights, and just plain mistakes in engineering history in the hope that this knowledge will someday prevent you (yes, you!) from experiencing an early and unneccesarily gory death.
November Kelly is a prolific poster and podcaster and has at one point or another made all of the world's worst people extremely mad. While not commenting on some great wreck caused by man's hubris on Well There's Your Problem, she can be found musing over how to Kill James Bond, predicting our own Trashfuture, and discussing the wildest moments in municipal politics on No Gods No Mayors. "Yay Liam!"
Liam McAnderson is a social worker. Yes, on this podcast we have an actually a good and wholesome person! While not being the instinctive voice of justice and reason on Well There's Your Problem, you may find him yelling about Philadelphia sports on his podcast Ten Thousand Losses, or yelling about Philadelphia sports in real life in the stadia with his better half Corinne.
This workshop will take place in the Literature Department at Parkway Central Library. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
