Juneteenth Celebration
David Cohen Ogontz Library
Juneteenth is a day that celebrates the last slaves, in Texas, learning that they were free following the end of the Civil War. We are celebrating our own Juneteenth Jubilee. Please drop by and connect with friends to learn about local community events, sign up for Summer Reading, participate in a chess tournament, make a craft, have a snack, and more! The Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network (PAAN) will also be here to talk about job opportunities and other topics. All ages are welcome.
Flowers, hearts, birds, clouds... What would you like to have decorating your face? Jane Lashner is a talented face painter - see how she can transform you! Space may be limited. For school-age kids.
