Are you looking for a tree to beautify your property?  We all know that the shade from trees keeps us cool but did you know that kids in neighborhoods with trees do better in school? 

Here's how you can get a free tree:

• TreePhilly is partnering with the Logan and West Oak Lane branches to give free yard trees to Philadelphia residents.
• Trees are available at a contactless pick up event at the West Oak Lane Library on Friday, October 2, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Delivery is available for COVID-19 vulnerable groups and those without a vehicle.
• To receive a tree, you must pre-register by September 29th.  At this time, the trees are only for residents in 19138 or 19141 zip codes.  Register here http://tinyurl.com/LibraryTreeGiveaway.  You can also register by calling the Logan Library at (215) 685-9156  or the West Oak Lane Library at (215) 685-2843 (Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
