Community Cultural Exchange: Week 2
Virtual
As part of their self-appointed artist residency program at the Free Library's Central Branch, guerrilla performance artist Beth Heinly will lead a Community Cultural Exchange meeting group where all are invited to discuss, organize, and perform community outreach amidst the pandemic. Taking part in this meeting group is in part participating in social art practice. We will collaborate as a unified front to creatively implement ways we can help our communities through a series of organized actions.
Sign up from the link below or email the Art Department directly at freelibraryart@gmail.com to receive an invitation for a private Google Group where you can join our message board and participate in weekly meet-ups via Google Hangouts.
May 11 will be the second of four Monday meetings in May; new participants can join in for an ongoing discussion and to shape and take part in a different project each week.
