The Free University of Philadelphia Presents: Revolutionary Narrative - Toward a Poetics of Power
South Philadelphia Library
Course description:
We make a humanly habitable world with stories. Every story is about power, and is itself a struggle for power. This class explores the stories we carry in our heads, on how to put them into words, to identify the elements of power: and an experiment in imagining our way toward what might become the narratives of another possible world.
This free 8 week course, which starts on February 25, is facilitated by writer and professor Jacob Russell. Please bring a notebook and a pen or pencil to class.
