Join the Fishtown Library for a discussion of the One Book One Philadelphia selection for 2025, The Upcycled Self by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter, co-founder of The Roots! We’ll talk about Trotters’ life and work as he describes it in the memoir, Philly’s place in his story, and more.
Reading the book beforehand is encouraged but not necessary. Copies will be available at the branch--call or come in and ask a librarian to claim yours.
This program will take place on the library's 3rd floor, accessible by stairs and elevator.
