Take Part in a Free Library Holiday Tradition: Dedicate a Bookplate!

By Kate C. RSS Tue, November 14, 2023

Can you believe the holiday season is almost upon us? While families are preparing to celebrate their favorite holiday traditions, we invite you to join the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation for one of our own cherished traditions — a 2023 Commemorative Free Library Bookplate!

Commemorative bookplates are memorable holiday gifts and a way for you to support the library while also honoring someone special to you, perhaps that hard-to-shop-for friend or family member! With a gift of $50 or more, your honoree's name will be placed on a permanent bookplate inside a book in the Free Library’s collection.

This year, we are excited to feature Isabel Roxas’ illustration, which is a part of the Free Library's Children’s Literature Research Collection. This colorful and inspiring card is the perfect way for you to let friends and family know about the gift made in their name to the Free Library. In the meantime, you're supporting library programs and resources and impacting thousands of people across the Philadelphia region.

Add your loved one’s name to the Free Library shelves today! The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation sends its best wishes for a wonderful and joyous holiday season.
