So they are adding Saturday service at 10 locations after cutting hours at all of the locations with a 7:00 PM closure, or a 6:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday, and a 5:00 PM closure on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Before the pandemic all of the libraries had Saturday hours, and they closed at 8:00 PM when they were open late, and at 6:00 PM on the other days with a 5:00 PM closing on Friday. This is nothing more than a spin move by the current Administration to try and sell a cut in services at the Free Library of Philadelphia. The Free Library of Philadelphia is the only remaining major public library system in the country that has still not restored its hours to prepandemic services. The lie, and the sad commentary continue from this new administration.

When will the Parkway Central Library be open on Saturday? Also, since your hours are still so limited, especially to community in Center City, why are so many databases, such as JSTOR, limited to on location access, when location access is limited? I know that Universities offer these databases with off campus access so it IS possible.
