During this workshop you will learn:

Resume Re-Invention | Thursday, September 8 | 3:00 p.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- How to analyze your resume from the point of view of a recruiter
- Costly resume errors to avoid at any cost
- How to maximize your accomplishments to make your resume more powerful
- How to handle resume challenges including employment gaps, age, multiple short-term jobs

LinkedIn Basics | Thursday, September 22 | 3:00 p.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- The basics of starting a LinkedIn account
- Populating your profile
- Beginning your job search using the LinkedIn platform
- How to connect with contacts, track companies, and join groups.
QuickBooks Basics | Tuesday, October 4 | 12:00 p.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- The interface of QuickBooks
- Common accounting terms
- How to add and edit QuickBooks lists
- How to create/edit invoices and bills, process payments, reconcile your accounts to verify your QuickBooks account records match with the bank’s records.
Job Search Strategies | Thursday, October 6 | 3:00 p.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- All the critical ingredients of a comprehensive job search
- Productive job search attitudes and behaviors
- How to avoid missteps and lost opportunities
How to Answer Tough Interview Questions | Wednesday, October 12 | 11:00 a.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- How to describe work accomplishments in a way that truly convinces the interviewer that you’re their #1 candidate.
- Best answers to the toughest questions such as: “What is your greatest weakness?”
- Preparation tips for other commonly asked interview questions.
Excel Range Names and PivotTables | Tuesday, October 18 | 12:00 p.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- How to use named ranges and to assign names to a cell or range of cells in a workbook.
- How to use PivotTables for summarizing, analzing, exploring, and presenting data extracted from larger amounts of data elsewhere.
Changing Careers, Branding and Elevator Speech | Thursday, October 20 | 3:00 p.m.
During this workshop you will learn:
- The definition of a personal brand
- How to position yourself in the employment marketplace
- The difference between hard and soft skills
- Which skills are most highly sought after and transferable?
- How to bring hard and soft skills into your job search
- How to use hard and soft skills to change jobs and careers
